Georgia Accessibility RallyA Statewide Competition in Georgia in the US
The Georgia Accessibility Rally is the first ever statewide web accessibility competition in the nation. It paired high school students with disabilities in Georgia's High School/High Tech program with mentors trained in web accessibility standards and techniques. Each team's goal was to redesign their existing school website in order to make it more accessible to people with disabilities. You can read a press release about the winners and see the newly accessible sites by going to: http://www.sedbtac.org/ed/whats_new/articles.cfm?id=4520For more information about the Georgia Accessibility Rally, visit the rally website at http://www.garally.org/ or the Butler New Media site at http://www.butlernewmedia.com .
