Site Summary: "The Cross-Cultural Health Care Program
(CCHCP) at Pacific Medical Center was established in 1992 with a major grant from the
W.K. Kellogg Foundation. The CCHCP's primary goal is to improve the health care of communities that face linguistic and cultural barriers to receiving health services. The CCHCP develops training programs for health care providers and for medical interpreters, provides a central resource center, and works with underserved communities and with institutions to change policies and procedures that create barriers to care."
