The National Arts and Disability Center(NDAC)Program Announcement
The National Arts and Disability Center would like to bring to your attention an upcoming performance by the Los Angeles Modern Dance and Ballet entitled "Twelve Dancing Princesses" at the John Anson Ford Amphitheater in Hollywood on Saturday, September 2, 2000 at 8:00pm. The cast includes an intergenerational, culturally diverse cast of women and girls ages 9 to 84. They do not conform to a single body type, so they will challenge and expand audience members perception of the age > and physicality of dancers. Included in the cast are: Dana Berk, Kierra > Branch, Lulsa Levy, Stacey McKenzie, Joy Mincey Powell, Miriam Rochlin, Betty Shoenberg, and Amy You. The John Anson Ford Amphitheater is located at 2530 Cahuenga Blvd., East off the 101 (Hollywood). The theatre can accommodate patrons in wheelchairs and assistive listening devices are available.
