Freedom Machines is an award-winning PBS documentary. It is a bilingual (English-Spanish) DVD done the way it should be done with with talking menus, audio description, captions, additional chapters and web-enabled resources. Not only does it tell an number of terrific stories about how assistive technology and Universal Design can effect the lives of people with disabilities, but it can be used as a resource by those who need to show the big picture to help teach, design, make policy, or use assistive technology in facilitating issues in the lives of people with disabilities.
