This book is a must read for everyone disabled or not. It is well organized,
clearly written and easy to read. Ostensibly, it is the story of 8 nursing
students with disabilities and how they got through school and their experiences
both in school and at work. In my opinion, it is a great deal more.
It is a book that presents 8 stories of people who refuse to give up until they
have achieved what they have set out to achieve. It is a book with a
well thought out and organized way to deal with challenges that could face any
one of us. With a small amount of work each one of us could take that plan
and mold it to our own lives and goals and it would help us enormously.
The author has done a fabulous job of telling the stories, and showing each
of ways to overcome obstacles.
For those who have disabilities the books also presents a good set of
resources for education and employment.
