Site Summary:"The clinic started in 1993 when the
sugar plantation closed and the infirmary became the community health
center. We serve an isolated agricultural area of the Big Island
covering over 900 square miles with a population of 7,500 living on
farms and in isolated villages. The area ranks in the top five for
health risk in the State Primary Care Access Plan. We recently opened a
seven day-per-week urgent care clinic. We serve a MUA, and are a Rural
