Kokua Kalihi Valley offers services to anyone who lives in Kalihi Valley. Kokua Kalihi Valley's service area is defined by the boundaries of Koolau Mountain Range in the North, Fort Shafter Ridge to the West, Kalihi Moole Ridge, Kapalama Middle Range, and Kananaiki Palama Ridge to the East, and H1-Lunalilo Freeway as the southern boundary. Within this area, KKV serves three housing projects, Kalihi Valley Homes, Kuhio Park Terrace, and Hauiki.

Kalihi Valley has been designated as a Medically Under-served Area (MUA) and a Health Personnel Shortage Area (HPSA). KKV offers services to Kalihi Valley residents regardless of income. Service fees are based on a sliding fee scale. KKV receives funds from payments for clinical services, federal and state grants, and private donations.
