Site Summary: 

KHA was founded in 1982 by Theanvy Kuoch, a survivor of the Cambodian holocaust and refugee, and three American nurses who worked in refugee camps in Thailand. KHA provided health assessments and mental health services in the form of individual, family, group and massage therapies for survivors of torture and concentration camp syndromes. Direct service is provide for Khmer speaking peoples from Connecticut and Western, Mass. 
On a national level, KHA develops and distributes health education materials usually in the form of video, audio or interactive multimedia.
